Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy explains how Annalakshmi ("Lettuce & Sprouts") delivers your orders. (Razorpay refers to this as a "Shipping" policy; for us it means local food delivery.)
1. Where we deliver
We currently deliver to {{SERVICE_AREA}}. Our exact serviceable zones are defined in the app: you pick your delivery point on the map (or use a saved address), and the app checks it against our delivery zones at checkout. If your location falls outside the zones, the app will tell you and we cannot accept the order for that address. Zones may expand or change over time.
2. Delivery days & times
- You choose a delivery time slot when ordering.
- Same‑day delivery is available for orders placed before 10:30 AM; later orders begin the next day.
- Sundays are a holiday — no deliveries are made on Sundays. For 26‑Day Plans, Sundays are skipped automatically.
3. Delivery charges
Delivery charges (if any) are calculated by distance from our kitchen in slabs (e.g. free up to a certain distance, then a small fee per slab) and are shown at checkout before you pay. For 26‑Day Plans, the per‑delivery charge is applied per delivery day. Charges may change; the amount shown at checkout is what applies to your order.
4. Receiving your order
- Please ensure your address/location is accurate and that someone is available to receive the order at the chosen time.
- Because the food is fresh and perishable, if delivery fails due to an incorrect address or no one being available, the order may be treated as delivered and is not refundable (see Refund & Cancellation Policy).
5. Delays
We aim to deliver within your chosen slot. Occasionally, weather, traffic or operational issues may cause delays; we'll do our best to keep you informed.
