Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Lettuce & Sprouts mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Annalakshmi ("Lettuce & Sprouts", "we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information (name, email, phone, delivery address) and to keep it updated in your profile.
- You can create an account with email + password (verified with a one‑time code) or with Google Sign‑In. If you use Google with an email that already has an account, we link the two only after you confirm in the app.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password and sign‑in methods secure.
2. The Service
Lettuce & Sprouts offers:
- Daily orders — custom or preset salads delivered to a chosen location and time slot.
- 26‑Day Plans — a planned series of salads. A plan is requested by you, then confirmed by our team (we may contact you to tailor it to your dietary needs) before payment is enabled.
3. Ordering, cut‑offs & availability
- Same‑day orders close at 10:30 AM; orders placed later start from the next day.
- Sundays are a holiday — no deliveries are scheduled on Sundays.
- A daily delivery can be edited only while it is more than one day away; closer deliveries are locked.
- A 26‑Day Plan takes effect only after our confirmation and your payment. Requested changes to an active plan are subject to our approval and, where the change increases the price, payment of the difference.
- All orders are an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance and ingredient availability. We may decline or cancel an order (with a refund where already paid) if we cannot fulfil it.
4. Pricing & payment
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and may include applicable taxes.
- Delivery charges, where applicable, are calculated by distance from our kitchen and shown at checkout before you pay (see the Shipping & Delivery Policy).
- Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card details.
- Where offered, "Pay later" lets you settle on delivery or have our team mark the order paid once settled.
- We may change prices and menu items at any time; changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
5. Delivery
Delivery is governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address/location and for being available at the chosen time.
6. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6a. Support & grievances
The app includes Help & Support (Profile â–¸ Help & Support) where you can raise a request about an order, a specific delivery, payments or anything else, message our team, and track the outcome. Resolutions may include an explanation, a redelivery or a refund, at our reasonable discretion and per the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Replying to a resolved request reopens it. You may also reach us via the Contact Us channels.
7. Food safety & allergens
- We follow applicable food‑safety standards (FSSAI Lic./Reg. No. {{FSSAI_NUMBER}}).
- Our salads are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, egg, fish and other allergens. While ingredient and dietary tags are provided for guidance, we cannot guarantee against cross‑contact. If you have a serious allergy, please contact us before ordering.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: providing false information, attempting to disrupt or reverse‑engineer the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual property
The app, branding, content and design are owned by Lettuce & Sprouts and may not be copied or used without permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Lettuce & Sprouts against losses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kochi, Kerala.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
